Swapped the butt on my MP44, it's one I bought ages ago, supposedly it's original but I think it may be repro, I'm not really bothered as I only paid a repro price.
It fitted straight on with no adjustments it'll even take the standard battery with out drilling, only thing I had to do was use some larger diameter screws to hold it on;

Here's a close up of the markings on the butt;

And here's it added to my gun rack; :D

Today, I had another puncture on my run flat tyres :banghead: . While I was waiting to get it fixed (at a cost of £150!), I popped into a nearby Honda dealer and put a deposit on a Civic! The RAV4 is history after tomorrow! So, today, I also learned to buy a car with your head, rather than for the number of toys it has!

*sigh* I wish I could pop into a dealer and put a deposit on a car!

Still, my 12 year old Astra does me fine.

I find using pub toilets causes less distress, and legal action, to all involved.

I've only done it because I've spent £300 on only 2 new tyres in the last 3 months! I can't go to kwik fit to change my runflats, hence the change of car. It's not costing me any money (in fact, I'll be £80 a month better off!). Add to that the fact I've actually got more in p/x for my RAV than I paid for it! :happyclap:

Why not play insurance companies off against each other? Insurance sales people have targets to meet, so never call early in the day - the end of the day, week, or month are the best times to try, when, if you catch one who's short of target, they may do you a better deal. The same applies to car buying if you're not a confident haggler.

Still worth asking around, I've had a company give me an extra years no-claims bonus to get me to switch. Have you tried Confused.Com, I use it every year now and get some cracking deals :good:
